Who This Page Is For

Who this page is for.

Registered charities and CICs

Local charities, community interest companies, and not-for-profit organisations of any size that need a website to communicate their work, take donations, and look credible to funders.

Education-focused small businesses

Independent nurseries, daycare settings, childminders, preschools, holiday clubs, private tutors, tutoring agencies, SEN/SEND specialists in private practice, music and drama coaches, educational content creators, CPD providers, and educational consultants.

If your organisation is in either group, or both, we would love to help you.

The Real Problem

A website that builds trust before it sells.

The genuine problem with most websites in this space isn't that they look bad. It's that they don't communicate what the organisation does or who it serves, and then have a very poor call to action, meaning they lose people before they even start.

A parent looking at a nursery can't quickly tell what makes it different from the next one along. A funder researching a charity can't see the impact clearly. A parent considering a tutor for their child can't see the credentials or the booking route without three clicks.

A proper rebuild puts the essentials at the front. The structure works for the visitor first and the editor second. The copy says clearly what you do and for whom. The enquiry, donation, or booking route is obvious from the first scroll. And the search foundations mean people looking for what you offer can actually find you.

Clear donation and enquiry routes

The action you want the visitor to take is obvious from the first scroll, not buried after three pages of copy.

Impact storytelling funders can use

For charities, the story of what you do and what it changes is front and centre, not tucked into a PDF annual report.

Parent-friendly structure

For nurseries and tutors, Ofsted information, credentials, and booking routes are where parents look for them, not where it was easiest to put them.

Search foundations from day one

Schema markup, clean code, and mobile optimisation so the site can actually be found by people looking for what you offer.

What the Build Emphasises

Built around the people you serve.

For charities

Clear donation routes, easy event listings, impact storytelling that funders can use, and search visibility so your work reaches the people it's for.

For nurseries and childminders

Parent-friendly enquiry forms, Ofsted information presented clearly, image galleries that show the setting without breaching child protection rules, and easy waiting-list management.

For tutors and education professionals

Booking integrations, clear credentials and DBS information, and a structure that makes the offering legible to parents who are weighing several options.

Technical foundations

Clean code, mobile and speed optimisation, schema markup, and AEO setup, the same foundations as on any Blue Lark build, so the site shows up in AI search answers as well as Google results.

Built around your brand

Where there's an existing brand, the site is built around it. Where the visual identity needs work alongside the build, we can scope that in as part of the project.

Donation and booking integrations

We set up JustGiving, Enthuse, PayPal Giving Fund, Stripe or booking widgets to suit your organisation, rather than bolting on a generic one.

The Process

How a Blue Lark build works for charities and education businesses.

Step 01

Book a website call

The conversation starts with a website call. We confirm the package that fits, agree the brief, and book the build in.

Step 02

A fixed timeline

Standard builds run to 14 working days from sign-off, and Plus builds to 30 to 45. We handle the copy, the structure, the technical SEO, and the launch. No discovery process running into months.

You can pay upfront or in three equal instalments on Standard and Plus. A ready-made site (from £795 +VAT) is also worth a look if you want to move quickly.

Common Questions

Common questions from charities and education businesses.

Yes. We can integrate with the major UK donation platforms including JustGiving, Enthuse, and PayPal Giving Fund, and we can set up direct integrations with Stripe or other payment processors. The right setup depends on whether you want one-off donations, regular giving, or both.
Yes. Nurseries, childminders, and tutors usually want a clean enquiry form for general questions plus a booking widget for trial sessions or tours. Both come built in on Plus, and Standard includes the enquiry form.
Yes. Every site is built on WordPress with a content management system designed for non-technical editors. Updating a news item, adding a staff bio, or posting an event is easy without needing to understand code.
We build a clear section for your current Ofsted rating and inspection report, with links to the official Ofsted record. Parents look for this within the first thirty seconds, so it sits where they can find it rather than buried in an About page.
Where children are shown in photographs we follow standard safeguarding practice. We record parental consent for every image, never put full names alongside photographs and leave out anything that could identify a child. The build doesn't make this decision for you, but we structure the site so that whatever your policy is can be implemented cleanly.
That's what the Hosting and Support plans cover. From £89 a month plus VAT, you get managed hosting, daily off-site backups, all software updates, continuous security monitoring, and a fast response if anything breaks. For an organisation that depends on the site to bring in enquiries or donations, the cost of being down is far higher than the monthly fee.
