Paid ads management that brings in customers, not just clicks.

Google, Microsoft, YouTube, and social advertising managed for UK small businesses, built around enquiries and conversions rather than just pretty metrics. We handle the setup and the day-to-day optimisation, so your budget works as hard as it possibly can.

The Problem

Why most small business paid ads waste money.

Paid advertising is the fastest way to get in front of people who are ready to buy. It is also the fastest way to burn money if it is set up badly.

Doing it yourself burns budget

Most small businesses who try it themselves bid on the wrong terms and pay for clicks that never convert. You end up losing budget every month without ever knowing where it went.

Agencies are not always better

Plenty charge a hefty fee to run your ads, then report on clicks and impressions that look impressive and mean nothing for your bottom line. The number that matters is how many enquiries and sales you got, and what each one cost you. In our lingo, this is PPC (pay per click), CPC (cost per click), and CPA (cost per acquisition). How much was the click, how much was the lead, and how much was the business won.

The two things that kill ad spend

Bidding on the wrong terms. Broad keywords that attract the wrong people. You pay for every click whether or not the person was ever going to buy from you.

Reporting on the wrong numbers. Clicks and impressions look busy but tell you nothing. Enquiries and cost per acquisition tell you everything.

The Platforms

The paid advertising platforms we manage.

We run paid advertising across the platforms that actually bring in leads for small businesses, and we recommend the ones that fit your market rather than spreading your budget thin across all of them.

Google Ads.

The big one for most businesses. When someone searches for what you sell, you appear at the top. This is where buying intent is highest, so it is usually where we start. It's also the most cutting edge with updates.

Microsoft Ads (Bing).

Often overlooked, usually cheaper per click, and the audience tends to be older and more affluent. Potentially a big win in an untapped market for the right business.

YouTube.

Video advertising for building awareness and reaching people before they start searching. This is run through Google and targeted properly.

Facebook & Instagram.

Paid socials for reaching people by interest and behaviour rather than search. Strong for visual businesses and tight local targeting.

TikTok.

Younger audiences and fast-growing reach. Right for some brands and wrong for others, and we will tell you plainly which you are.

ChatGPT & LLMs.

Whilst these are in early testing in the UK, we will advise on how to win new clients here when full release is given.

The Approach

How we run your ads.

No mystery, and no monthly report full of jargon.

Built around the people who buy

We work out where your customers are, build campaigns around the searches and audiences most likely to buy, and then manage them properly, testing and adjusting so the budget will work toward whatever is actually bringing in work.

Managed, not left to drift

The work is ongoing because paid advertising rewards attention. A campaign left alone drifts and wastes money, but a campaign over-engineered will never bring back reliable data. A campaign that is carefully managed and properly looked after gets cheaper and sharper over time, which is the compounding gain that makes the management worth paying for.

How we keep it honest

What we report on. Enquiries and cost per acquisition, not clicks and impressions.

How campaigns improve. Continuous testing and budget shifting toward what is working.

Ad spend. Always paid direct to the platform. Never marked up by us.

Pricing

How paid advertising costs work.

It is worth being clear about how paid advertising is paid for, because it trips a lot of people up.

Two separate costs

The first is your ad spend, the money that goes to Google, Microsoft, or whichever platform you are running on. That buys the clicks, and you pay it directly to the platform. The second is our management fee, which is what you pay us to set the campaigns up and run them well. The two are separate, and your ad spend is always yours, paid to the platform and never marked up by us.

Quoted to your situation

Because every business needs a different budget and a different mix of platforms, the management fee is quoted to your situation rather than fixed. We will talk through your goals and what is realistic for your budget, then give you a clear number before anything starts.

Ad spend

Paid directly by you to Google, Microsoft, or the platform. This buys your clicks. We never touch it or add a margin to it.

Management fee

Quoted per client. Covers setup, ongoing optimisation, and reporting. You get a clear number before any work begins.

Honest Assessment

Is paid advertising right for you?

The honest answer

It is not right for every business, and not always right now. Paid ads work best when your offer is clear, your website is ready to convert the traffic it gets, not forgetting to mention that you have a budget you can sustain long enough to learn what works. If your website is not ready to turn visitors into enquiries, spending on ads to send people there is pouring water into a leaky bucket, and we will tell you to fix that first.

When the foundations are right

Paid advertising is one of the fastest ways to grow. We will give you a clear view on whether it is the right move for you now, or whether your money is better spent elsewhere first.

Paid ads work well when

Your offer is clear and specific. Your website converts visitors into enquiries. You have a budget you can sustain for a few months of learning, and you need volume faster than organic search alone can deliver.

Fix these first

A website that doesn’t convert, because the traffic is wasted until that’s right. An unclear offer, because ads can’t fix a weak proposition. A budget too small to run long enough to test and improve.
