How the 14 working day website build works.

The Approach

Most website projects take months. They do not need to.

What drags a project out is the indecision and the revision calls that circle for weeks without ever landing on anything. Blue Lark works differently. You get commercial judgement from a team who’ve spent years working out why people buy, paired with a build process that doesn’t waste time.

What “ready within 14 working days” actually means

Like Ronseal, it does exactly what it says on the tin. From the point we have agreed what we are building and you have handed over your content and key information, your website is ready to publish within 14 working days. It can be quicker than that. Fourteen working days is the outer edge, the figure you can plan around, not a target we are hoping to scrape.

The honest caveat

Like with all things, there are caveats. Our rapid timeline depends on us having what we need from you. If your content arrives three weeks late, the 14 working days start when it lands, not before. We will be clear about what we need up front, so nothing stalls on a missing logo or a half-written paragraph. Don't worry if you need guidance on any part of this, as that's what we're here for.

Why a 14 working day website build is realistic

Our workflow is built on years of experience and a team that works quickly. The slow part of web design has never been the building. It’s the back-and-forth and the layers of account management that agencies put between you and the actual work. Blue Lark strips that out. The speed comes from removing the waste that bloats a normal web project, and the work that matters still gets the time it needs.

The Five Stages

Here is what happens between the first conversation and a website that is ready to go live.

01

Fit and focus

We get clear on what your business does and who you need to reach. Equally, we want to know who you're not! From here, we can work out what the website actually has to achieve. This is the commercial thinking the rest of the project rests on. Get it right here and every later decision gets easier.

02

Structure and copy

Your site is planned around clear sections and the questions your customers ask before they buy. The copy is written to sell rather than just populate space on the site, and structured around how people actually search. This is where most small business websites fall down, and where years of sales experience can support your business growth.

03

Build and review

The website is built on a fast, efficient workflow that skips slow templates and page-builder bloat. You see it, we refine it, and nothing goes live until it is right. The speed comes from tight planning and good tooling, not from cutting corners on the things that matter.

04

AEO/SEO foundations

We add the core search elements so the site is ready to be found from day one. These are page titles, meta descriptions, a clean heading structure, internal links, schema markup and answer-led content. Don't worry if you don't know what this all means because we do. Simply put, this is the groundwork that gives you a real chance in search and in AI answers. When these foundations are laid properly at the start, any ongoing AEO/SEO work you do will be far more successful.

05

Launch-ready handover

You get a professional website ready to publish, plus straight guidance on what is worth improving next as the business grows. No lock-in, and no calling a developer every time you want to change a line. It is your site, built to stay yours.

Want us to host and support your site? We'd love to. We have plans for every kind of business. See what suits you best here.
