The Marlowe & Rowe team collaborating around a table covered in campaign moodboards and strategy notes

Our Approach

Story before spin.

We believe the best PR doesn’t sound like PR. Our work starts with the truth of a brand — what it stands for, who it’s for, why it matters — and builds coverage that reflects that truth back, rather than papering over it with noise.

That means fewer, better relationships: with the editors, columnists, and cultural voices who shape how London’s consumer and hospitality world talks about itself. We pitch stories we’d want to read, to people we’ve spent years earning the trust of.

The result isn’t just column inches. It’s a brand that gets remembered for the right reasons, by the right people.

Our Process

How we work.

It starts with listening — to the client, to their customers, and to the journalists we already know will care. We spend the first weeks of any relationship understanding a brand from the inside before we ever draft a pitch, because coverage that doesn’t reflect the truth of a business rarely lasts.

From there, our process is deliberately unglamorous: careful research, honest strategy conversations, and the patient, unfashionable work of building real relationships with the people who decide what gets covered. We’d rather send fewer pitches to the right five people than blast a hundred names who’ll never open the email.

Our Clients

Who we work with.

Our client list is small by design — hospitality groups, hotels, restaurants, and the consumer brands that share their instinct for craft and detail. Larkspur & Co., Hearth House Hotels, The Bellamy Hotel and Common Ground Coffee are among the names we’ve helped find their voice in the London press.

We take on new clients only when we’re confident we can give their story the attention it deserves.
